We made our first trip to the boardwalk since Hurricane Ike. The boardwalk is still under construction, but some of the restaurants, including new ones, are open. The only rides are a new double-decker carousel and the rollercoaster. The employees and construction guys out-numbered the customers. We also hit the fish markets, a couple of which had not washed away.

Kemah Boardwalk

Lots of fun was had that day but Jameson was wishing for more rides. He really wanted to ride the wild roller coaster when he saw and heard it. We had to explain that he can ride it when he's a "little" bigger. Gosh, I miss Astroworld and am sad that Jameson won't have that same experience. Astroworld rocked! It was mommy's favorite.
