Sweden 2010

The Lake House (on Lake Runn near Torsang).

Lilymore, Anders' wife, made Jameson a birthday cake.

Uncle Erik (manlig punkare).

Jameson coming out to join me while I take in the view with my afternoon coffee.

Erik advising Jameson on hunting water striders. Jameson is an ace bug collecter.

Great Uncle Anders.

Does she have what it takes to brave the icy waters? (Yes she does.)

Moose Zoo. These guys are kept in a pretty big fenced area during the short summer, and get to wander freely over a huge piece of land during the long winter.

In Halmstad visiting Par and his family. A long nature trail starts at the end of the road right next to their place, and runs along the Atlantic.

Breaking for coffee and homemade bullar (cinnamon buns). Par bakes.

Icy cold post salt-water pool rinse off. Jameson needed a little coaxing. (thanks for the picture Par)

The boys with their little Swedish cousins, Isabella and Inez.

Rattvik summer luge. Erik says that when they were kids, Desiree's brother, Krister, went flying off this thing.

The Copper Mine at Falun, discovered by a goat, according to legend.

At the Pippi Longstocking Museum in Stockholm.

Swedish Museum of Natural History.

Hakan and Lena at an outdoor concert.

Lena at a pub in Gumla Stan (Old Town). Lena ranks highly in Jameson's list of important people.

Kicki.

Mosebacke Terrace beer garden with Lena and Kicki. It provides a great view of Stockholm.

Dragon at a playground. This one shoots water instead of flames.
